The ways to survive for modern enterprises vary according to different industrial conditions, while being smart in the era of “Industry 4.0” is the core value for enterprises all over the world in order to offer faster, more comprehensive services to their customers. Taiwan’s machinery suppliers are working hard to realize the idea of smart manufacturing so as to improve their productivity, quality, as well as reduce their cost and stock. President Hsiao of Forwell stated that, the concept of smart manufacturing is to integrate machinery with information, reporting the processing data, utilization data, and maintenance data to the control center for the sake of smart automation. as the smart technology develops in the globe, machinery suppliers have to keep up with the trend. Because only by being smart, can a factory make its production line standardized, smart, and competitive; otherwise the factory will be filtered by the market eventually.
President Hsiao said that, Forwell invested on the R&D of smart production since the year 2010, to develop smart machines and the corresponding peripherals such as mold/ die management system, mold/ die transmission system (the automatic cart), and the first automatic mold/ die storage system in Taiwan which can proceed mold and die loading duty for metal forming and plastics injection industries. Now the company dedicates to the R&D of smart automatic QDCS/ QMCS. It has achieved the mold/ die delivery system (automatic mold/ die cart) in mass production, and also realized smart mold/ die management system that can change, transmit, carry, reserve, warehousing, maintain molds and dies in a safe and rapid manner.
Moreover, Forwell has developed the “Automatic Factory QMCS/ QDCS” that integrates inspection system, data report system, and can provide data to the control center. In the future, it will integrates IoT to realize Industry 4.0.
President Hsiao emphasized that, this system is 100% customized. The design is based on customers’ plant specifications as well as machinery conditions. Therefore, this system is highly complicated and difficult to build, involving profound engineering technology.
President Hsiao shared with people that Forwell has been dedicating to the field of quick die/ mold change system for many years, and has built firm partnerships with plastics injection partners as well as metalworking suppliers for decades. Hsiao knows how important it is for consumers in the industry to upgrade their capital goods into smart facilities with the adaptation of smart management systems as this issue always hinders suppliers’ progression, causing problems in mold/ die storage and management.
